We are so happy to have found Sudhaji and Kalanjali School of Dance. We started with a teacher who then moved to India and after lot of research of Bharatnatyam teachers in the Monmouth and Middlesex counties, we decided on Kalanjali School of Dance. Though we have a 35-40 minute drive, it has been absolutely worth it for 10+ years. Kalanjali offers the best balance between learning Bharatnatyam and semi-classicals. My daughters learnt more than just dance, they learnt teamwork, scheduling, being flexible and had numerous opportunities to perform both in dance competitions and community events to polish their dance skills, build self-confidence and self esteem and discover themselves through dance. Many competition brought awards - it speaks of the quality and discipline Sudhaji puts in her training We couldnt be happier with our choice. And you have to see it for yourself in the Arangetrams and recitals !
